August 2019: Four new computer classes successfully installed!

Fund Isaan in sponsored by delaware installed four new computer classrooms in August, 2019. With the help of Klaas Vandeweerdt (Deloitte), Gino Wuytjens (Deloitte), Tom Hertsens (delaware), and Stijn Piron (delaware), all new classes were successfully installed at Thep Udom Witthaya School in Sangkha, Traimit Witthayasan School in Chomphra, Muang Bua Witthaya School in Chumphonburi and Piti-Dharmmanusorn (Singhaseni) School in Kab Cheung. Fund Isaan and the volunteers did not only install the computer classes, including 20 computers, a multifunctional printer and a network connected to the internet, we also provided a basic training to the teachers responsible for the new classes.

Fund Isaan also repaired more than thirteen classes installed in previous years at schools located in Surin and Roi-et province.

All schools organized a formal handover ceremony during which we emphasized the importance education and the ever increasing impact of technology on daily life, much in line with the Thailand 4.0 initiative from the Thai government. We made sure that the students understood that, with the classrooms they received a unique opportunity to access the digital world.

We highly appreciated the friendly and warm welcome by students, teachers, directors, school committees and others.

Special thanks to delaware for their support. Also thanks to the IT students from Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (Surin Campus), Saksit Manadee, Torsak Phanukdee and Suradit Phornguen for their time and support. This made our Fund Isaan Classroom Project 2019 a big success.
