In 2015, Fund Isaan granted Da a scholarship when she was studying in her fifth year of high school at Saikaew Witthaya School. Da finished her semester with a grade of 81%.
Da lived with a family of four people in a village called Baan Moung Jaroen. Her father was a farmer who owned a small rice farm and as almost all Thai farmers, outside the harvesting season; he worked as a day laborer in another province to make some extra money.
In 2011 when Pauw was studying in her third year of high school at Tabao School, Fund Isaan granted her a scholarship, because of her difficulties at home. Pauw wanted to continue her studies to become a nurse.
Fund Isaan granted Pop a scholarship in 2011 when he was studying in his third year of high school at Tabao School.
His parents divorced, Pop didn’t know his father and mother. He and his one year older sister was left behind with his grandparents. His grandfather was a 50 year old farmer and his grandmother was a 52 year old housewife.
Fund Isaan granted Kjue a scholarship in 2010 when she was studying in her fifth year of high school at Chueaploeng Witthaya School. She wanted to study further to become a nurse.
Kjue lived in a small house in Baan Chueaploeng village with a family of five people. Her parents owned neither fields nor cattle. Kjue had two younger sisters who were both studying in a primary school. Her father worked as a handy man in the village for 200 THB per day (5 Euro). Her mother stayed home to take care of the house and the children.
Fund Isaan granted Am a scholarship in 2011, when he was studying in his fifth year of high school at Sangkha School. Am wanted to study further and become a doctor.
Am was a good student. He scored 88%, and was ranked number one of the class. He also participated in a nationwide test on Thai history and finished in the top ten.
Fund Isaan granted Sem a scholarship in 2012 when he was 17 years and studying in his fifth year of high school. Sem wanted to study IT at Surindra Rajabhat University in Surin province after his high school.
