A Fund Isaan Alumni part thirty three: Pu

When we first met Pu he lived with his parents in Baan Ta Mome Patthana village. His parents both worked as construction workers and on the rice fields during harvesting season. Pu had an older brother who worked as a picture frame maker in another province. Together, they made about 9,000 THB to survive each month.

A Fund Isaan Alumni part thirty two: Boy

Fund Isaan recently visited Boy at his house in Baan Sai Khao village located in Sakaad sub district, Sangka, Surin. At the local temple we were shown the angel statute Boy had donated to the temple, to express his gratitude for how his life has evolved.

We granted Boy a scholarship in 2014 when he was 18 years old. He had just finished his high school at Sangkha Industrial and Community Education College and would like to continue another two years to obtain his high certificate in Machinery.

A Fund Isaan Alumni part thirty: Name

Name was granted a scholarship in 2012, when he was 18 and had just finished his high school. His parents were farmers. Between seeding and harvest they worked as daylaborers on construction sites. Name had a younger sister who was studying in high school.

With the scholarship from Fund Isaan, Name was able to continue his studies and obtain a high certificate in Electronics at Sangkha Industrial and Community Education College.

A Fund Isaan Alumni part twenty eight: Ton

In 2014, Ton was 19 and had just finished his high school with a grade of 75%. Fund Isaan granted him a scholarship and he continued his another two years of Auto Mechanic education at Prasat Industrial and Community Education College. He successfully graduated in March 2016.
