We are so proud to report that 26 of our scholarship students graduated earlier this year! Most of them meanwhile found employment in line with their education.
Congratulations to;
Kwan, Ryo, Nid, Beam and Om with their degree in nursing and Chon with her degree in Public Health;
Benz, Tee, Aoy, Seesad, Pook and Pan with their teachers degree;
Arm, Dom with their degree in construction and/or welding;
Nick, Ploy, Lek and Note with their bachelor degree in English;
Ploy, Jed and Ong with their degree in computer science and/or engineering;
Thanks to the support of our loyal sponsors Thaise Vrienden Wevelgem and Deloitte Belgium we were able to install 10 new computer classes in May 2023!
Like always we ordered the equipment, 210 portable computers, including windows and office licenses, from Close The Gap in Belgium.
On May 13, 2023 the pc’s arrived in Bangkok and were customs cleared. A few days later a truck delivered the shipment at our offices in Prasat Surin.
To make sure our scholarship students can pay their tuition fee for the first semester of 2023/2024 timely we recently reached out to all of them and where applicable paid their scholarships.
It was a pleasure to hear their stories and see their progress.
Now that schools have returned back to onsite classes (instead of online classes as was the case during the covid crisis) we see a gradual improvement of their grades.
Following the success of our Digital Bootcamp back in November and seen the number of schools applying for a session at their premises we organized an additional three weeks in January.
Between January 10 and January 27 we visited below schools and universities with our one day Digital Bootcamp: "a vision of the future!"
We wish all our friends, sponsors, scholarship students a very, very happy New Year!
